Guidance for staff
The North West DTC relies upon the support of over 100 members of academic and administrative staff across the constitute Universities. These staff will also be involved in the running of the North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (NWSSDTP), and as such much of the relevant information can be found on the new website.
Pathway events fund
Pathway Leads are encouraged to organise events for the students within their pathway and across pathways. Some funding is available to support such events.
Staff guidance for module exchange
Students at the NWDTC institutions can benefit from module exchange between the Universities. Master’s and PhD students, including those students not funded by the NWDTC, can benefit from this scheme.
Institutional academic and administrative staff queries should be addressed, in the first instance, to the Academic Lead or the Administrative Lead for your institution. General NWDTC queries can be directed to Hayley Meloy (email@example.com).
The North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership website provides guidance for staff on various aspects of the DTP, and their role within it.
